2. Chemical composition of EN-GJS-450-10 and ASTM A536 65-45-12 nodular cast iron

According to the requirements of international standards， Unless the customer requests, the chemical composition of nodular cast iron should not be used as a product inspection standard.

We usually process the chemical composition of nodular cast iron as following: C: 3.4～4.0, Si: 2.15～2.93%, Mn: 0.35～0.66%, S: 0.02～0.04%, P: 0.03～0.07%, Mg: 0.03～0.06%.

3. Mechanical properties of EN-GJS-450-10 and ASTM A536 65-45-12 ductile iron

Tensile strength  (MPa)：≥450, Dandong Hengrui casting Foundry can be reach more than 500 Mpa in normal processing.
Yield strength  (MPa)：≥310
Elongation rate (%)：≥10, Dandong Hengrui casting Foundry can be reach more than 18% in normal processing.

The elongation rate of A536 65-45-12 is ≥12％, the others are same to GJS-450.
The brinell hardness range are usually between 160~210HB.

4. Equivalent grade of EN-GJS-450-10 and ASTM A536 65-45-12

Equivalent material grade of EN-GJS-450-10，ASTM A536 65-45-12 are FCD400，FGS400，FGE42-12，FNG42-12，GS400-12,60-42-10，QT450-10，ISO 450 -10, they are all common grade in RFQ from foreign customers.

5. Application

EN-GJS-450-10 and ASTM A536 65-45-12 are Widely used in agricultural machinery, high pressure hydraulic cylinders and a variety of mechanical parts.

High elongation can be used to produce impact resistant iron castings. With good impact rsistance and hardness are used for the production of plow point, blade plough, furrow plough, plough pile, differential shell and valve body.
